BB14: It Lives!!

The plot's afoot! The script is turning. Deep in the heart of Studio City, under perpetually sunny skies, a sinister plot is hatching. Dr. Boogiestein, fuming with rage has hatched a plot to save his creation, Frank.

Last night, around 8:50 pm, Dr. Boogiestein lured the reigning Queen's Handmaiden, Britney, into his lair, wooing her with the promise of a mighty alliance that would wipe out all the peasants in the land beginning with his arch-nemesis and their leader, Janelle. Satisfied that he had the handmaiden's approval of this plan, he scuttled upstairs to gain an audience with Queen Danielle at 10:11 pm to put his diabolical persuasive powers to work, appealing to the Queen's prowess and already established distrust of Janelle.

He worked steadily throughout the night, bringing the Queen's most trusted Adviser in to discuss this devious plot. Dan-san was not happy with this but quickly found himself outnumbered as the Prince Consort, Shane was also tempted with the promise of annihilating all resistance by removing it's leader, Janelle.

Throughout the night, after the notorious doctor left the Queen's inner chamber, her court gathered to discuss this new development. The Queen has been convinced to rid the Queendom of the most hated Janelle. The Prince Consort, the Handmaiden and even the Royal Puppy supported the Queen's decision to save Dr. Boogiestein's creation Frank from execution and put Janelle in his place. The Queen's Chief Adviser is not happy with this, attempting to change her mind; but alas. it seems her mind is set.

Will Dan-san succeed in convincing the Queen? Has Dr. Boogiestein's master plan worked to eliminate the Leader of the Resistance, and the Queen's desired target? What will happen today? Will this new plot backfire? Will Dr Boogiestein's protegee, Frank, live to see another week?

ANALYSIS:

Not really relevant to game, I'd like to take the time to voice my deep concern about Frank's and Mike's attitude towards women in this game referring to them in very demeaning and dismissive ways. This is not making me want to root for them in any way, no matter how many smart moves they make, no matter how many competitions they win, no matter how many promises they keep. I would qualify that I think Frank is adjusting his words and attitude to fit in with Mike's. It doesn't excuse it, but it explains it. It doesn't impress me either way.

It actually makes me sick how women can't seem to get their shizz together to work as a team against the men. Thus far, only women have been evicted (Willie doesn't even count) and if this plan goes through, yet another woman will be. Though Britney and Danielle have been close in the house and there for each other, not once have they even considered taking each other to the end. Last night (12:35 am), Danielle and Shane confirmed their final 2 deal, while Britney, knowing she is low woman on the totem pole, started forging a side alliance of her own with Ian (1:17 am).

I don't believe that Danielle's reasoning for evicting Janelle is personal, like Dan and many fans are saying. Janelle's behavior has been far from trustworthy, and her behavior toward Danielle has not inspired confidence in the latter. It doesn't help that every 10 minutes someone comes to Danielle, telling her yet another lie Janelle has told. Danielle knows that she can't trust Mike or Frank, but her reasoning that Janelle has more HGs on her side is more sound at this point.

As far as Dan is concerned, I have to admit, my jaw dropped with his almost blind need to ally with Boogie to the detriment of the people he's been working with thus far. In his mind, he probably correctly surmises that he has better chances winning sitting next to Mike, but greater than sitting next to Britney? He is pushing to get Frank evicted but this is not for the safety of his alliance members, it's to ensure that Mike works with him in the future.

At this point, everything is still up in the air with so many factors that can play out in the next 24 hours changing the direction of the game yet again.

3:03 PM: Britney, Danielle, Dan meet in HoH. The plan to get Frank out back on. There are four reasons for this latest change: 1- Ian told Britney that they indeed they were planning on backdooring Shane last week. 2- Britney and Dan think that Mike will be less powerful without Frank. 3- Janelle is not trustworthy but she hasn't struck against them yet. 4- DR has been all over them as admitted by Danielle and Britney.

Dan says he doesn't trust either Mike or Janelle but Mike's second (Frank) is more powerful than Janelle's (Ashley). Danielle wishes she knew where Janelle stands because her behavior hasn't been consistent. Her prime worry is that Janelle will go against her and Shane next week. Dan and Britney don't think it would happen so soon.

Mike comes up about 30 minutes later, and starts his pitch again. He tells them he's trying to assemble the people of "value". He says there is no reason for him to roll with people who have not proven themselves in the game. Shane asks Mike what would prevent him from turning around, rallying the votes and keeping Janelle. Mike says that he has no interest with working in Janelle who's been dragging his name through the mud since day one. He expresses his disdain for her.

Shane brings up the fact that he and Frank were planning on gunning for Shane this week should things happened how it was going. Mike does not address it. They float the idea of taking Wil down instead of Frank so as not to expose their deal. Mike says that it's not ideal but if that's how they want to do it, it's okay to. He adds that he really wants to work with them. Maybe I'm misted too, but he seems sincere.

Britney comes back and Mike tells her about the amended proposal of keeping Frank on the block and replacing Wil with Janelle. Britney flat out tells him that she's worried about him, whether he's gonna roll with him against them. Mike says that he wants to roll with them and repeats that he's said to the other 3. Britney brings up the fact that he and Frank were plotting on getting Shane out this week. Mike denies it calling the people who told her this liars. He adds that they lied to him for a fact, but they need to wipe the slate clean and start from here. Britney brings up the fact that he and Frank offered to work with Wil; and he explains by saying they were trying to secure his vote last week.

When he leaves, Britney is vocal about not buying what Mike is saying. She brings up the fact that he did not own up to conspiring against Shane. She also brings up that she doesn't trust Mike's conviction that he will only work with them if Frank stays. Dan concurs that he doesn't trust Mike. Britney adds that they have ties on both sides of the house and she does not trust that they would be solid with them. Britney says that Janelle would go after Shane, but not yet. Sometimes when people hate each other, that's when they make an alliance that no one suspects. Britney is adamant about not buying anything Mike has said. She drives the nail in the coffin that Mike was good enough to convince her and Shane to put up two of Janelle's players while plotting to take Shane out.

4:20 PM: The four decide finally to keep the nominations the same. They say it's done. No going back. We will see. Dan tells Danielle she was misted by Mike. Danielle says that he had so many facts. Britney counters that she needs to fact check.

Enter Janelle. She asks what's going on and they tell her that Mike is trying to save Frank. Talk turns to the need for Frank to go home. Britney says "we sent Playmate of the Year and sent home Frank the Tank." Janelle maintains that she wanted Frank gone from week one, which did for half that week at least.

Stay tuned! :)
