BB14: If It Quacks Like a Duck

At 11:30 AM PST, the feeds went to trivia, signalling the beginning of the PoV Ceremony. The plan devised by Dan and Frank and agreed to by Jenn and Danielle is to have Jenn use the Veto, take Dan down, and Frank will replace him with Britney.

The question is, when can Ian use this veto and for how long is it valid? We shall see! I will be updating the results and aftermath here! For the important events leading up to the ceremony, check out the previous post!

12:35 PM: Feeds back. Britney has been nominated. Frank is putting Ian on blast. Britney says that she's obviously going home to get back at Ian. It escalates to the point where Frank tells Ian to get the eff out.

Britney joins Dan in the Arcade Room to ask him if she's the target. Dan says he doesn't know. Britney says that he's being so cold. At the same time, Frank and Jenn are working on Shane. Britney then goes to HoH. Shane leaves. Frank tells her that she's in this position because she was working against him this whole time while pretending to be with him.

Britney breaks down. She says she wants to fight to stay here; if she can stay, she will work with them. Meanwhile, Shane confirms to Danielle that he will be voting Britney out. Britney is very emotional, saying her Jury vote will be also based on how people treat each other. She's hurt that Dan didn't even look at her when she asked him earlier. At the same time, Ian is HEATED, he wants that "mofo" (Frank) out of the game in the next two weeks. He vows revenge.

Joe pulls Shane into the Kicks Room, saying he's not sure he can trust Ian. This is a tune he's been singing for weeks. Shane pretends to Joe that he doesn't know which way to vote. Joe says it's his decision but he will vote with him. Frank and Dan confer briefly exchanging conversations with Britney.

12:57 PM: Ian and Frank get into a screaming match. Ian says he doesn't get what he's doing. Frank calls him sneaky, saying it was easy to for him to get rid of Mike. Ian gives as good as he gets. They each air out a whole season of grievances on both sides. F bombs everywhere. Ian tells him that he was going to work with him but now he's out. For those of you worrying about Ian, don't. The kid can sure put the loudest talker on BLAST!

1:07 PM: While Britney is inconsolable in the living room and Frank is explaining what's happened to Joe in the Arcade Room, Dan sees sky writing outside... "We ♥ Britney/Dani." (not sure which)  And Button Boy intervenes.

1:13 PM: This has nothing to do with game, but it is heartbreaking. Britney tells her not to trust Jenn, to keep Shane and Ian close. She emphasizes that Danielle can beat Dan at anything, that she needs to study every day.

1:19 PM: Dan and Shane connect. Shane says that he's with Dan and hopes he can trust him. Dan says he meant everything he said about Shane in his speech. Shane says he's in a difficult situation but he will roll with the plan. Dan says it's too bad Britney is going to pay for what Ian did, adding that he refused to own up to what he did. Shane is worried that Dan has an agreement with Frank. Dan says thet will talk later, more privately.

Britney, ever the funny one, starts cracking jokes, saying she didn't want to pull a Janelle, but could they have at least told her to fix her hair? She says she looks "like a blow fish that was kicked in the face." She tells her husband and family to calm down, that she will be fine. Meanwhile Dan goes upstairs and he gives Jenn a hug. They catch up on what's been told to Shane (namely Dan is still the target but Ian is first.)

1:29 PM: Britney joins Ian outside. He tells her that he plan is for them to go after Frank immediately. He says she has his vote and that she should stay in the house since Frank wants her gone. Meanwhile Shane and Danielle are talking how they can't trust Dan or Frank and certainly cannot beat them in the end. Dan comes in to see if Danielle is okay and she's short with him. When he leaves she asks why he's being nice to her all of a sudden. Concurrently, Joe promises his vote to Britney, after he promised her would vote the way Shane would. Imma call Joe, Stir-fry from now on.

1:36 PM: Dan finds Danielle alone and says "Told you I would get you to the end. You have the least target in the house right now." She smiles and leaves.

1:40 PM: After Frank attempts to bait Ian who doesn't take the bait, everything  settles in the house, for now. Most of them are laying out in the sun and Ian is rocking the hammock and the Guiness...

1:50 PM: Dan and Danielle find themselves alone. Dan asks if she's upset that Britney is leaving and she replies yes but it's not me. Dan says that it's good she's acting upset with him, that the others won't know they are still working together. He tells her, he's open book with her and will remain so throughout the game. He asks her if she's 100% sure she has Shane's vote. She says yes. He gets her a a nice cold beverage with ice.

4:01 PM: Nothing much new to report except Britney has gone from sadness, to a sense of betray (because Dan wouldn't just shut up and allow himself to be booted out of the house), to now anger. Britney is going through the 5 Stages of  Blindside Eviction.

6:09 PM: Britney reaches acceptance. She realizes that Dan did not do this to go against him; that it was a game move and a smart one at that. She acknowledges that she made mistakes and tried to make too many moves that brought her here. She's crying. Dan says that he genuinely likes her and that everything he's said to her, on a personal level, are true. Britney says that she doesn't want to give up but she doesn't want to take away Danielle's one shot at it. She came into the game as a coach and wants to stay that way. Dan says that this shows what a type of person she is, one with integrity, unlike him who has done things he knows he will regret. He boosts her flagging confidence by saying that she outlasted Janelle and Mike. She apologizes to Dan for the things she said about him earlier and he says that he wished he heard it, knowing that it was probably very funny.

BB14: Operation Samurai Ninja Warrior Engage

7:50 PM: Dan begins his house meeting by thanking everyone for attending his BB funeral. He says he knows that he is leaving Thursday but that he needs to say something to each of them.

"Number one rule no crying… The last 24 hours have been really tough.. If anything I’m going to have fun.. I’m welcoming you all to my big brother funeral.. I’m going to put you all at ease… Unlike a typical funeral I’m going to say nice things about you...

Chef Joe:  We started on different sides. You have taught me how to be a good husband and father. One of the best things about you is: you are a 41 year old kid; and I’m a 27 year old kid

Shane: You are walking and living proof there is an actual Captain America. You are such a good dude. You are the type of guy I want to date my sister. When you get out of here, there will be a girl for you and she’ll be the right one.

Jenn: You are the first lesbian I have ever meet. When I saw someone like you with tattoos, I had certain prejudices. You allowed me to wipe away all my prejudices.  Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You cannot understand how much you’ve touched me. You have opened my eyes to a lot of things...

Britney: You were trusting of me and I was trusting of you. All I knew about you was the stink eye and epic diary rooms.. I know regardless of what happens that you and I will always have this bond, being newlyweds in this show.

Last three are going to be a little bit tougher...

Ian: When I first saw you in this game I thought you were evil guy. Everyone knows there is not a bad bone in your body. The more I am around you, the more I know we think the same. You are here to have fun and for the experience; so am I. The thing I want you to promise me when I’m gone, you cannot beat yourself up. You are a smart, bright kid.

Frank: We started off this game close we had so much in common, videogames, TV shows and your passion for this show. Your story about getting on Big Brother is inspirational. There are a couple things I said about you in the diary room that I am not proud; I want to clear it up with you in private. In this game, you’ll always be my arch enemy but as a past winner, I’m saying I’m proud of you.

Danielle please do me one favor in this game.. Don't insult me by talking game with me because I know you all want me out.. If you come to me to talk game I’ll scream your name out. Danielle, the last time I played this game I knew I had one person that I had to give 100% trust to; that was Memphis Garrett.. I saw you, day one, standing there; I thought I could trust you. I thought if I picked you would have similar qualities to Memphis. I was wrong. You know what you did. You are dead to me in this game."

8:06 PM: He ends the meeting, hugs each of them including the absolutely devastated Danielle; and goes upstairs with Frank. They lock the door. Dan has brought the bible up to swear that everything he is about to tell Frank is the truth: Here are the bullet points.

1-He reveals the Quack Pack and Ian's role in it.
2-He reveals that Ian is the mole and repeats Ian's conversation with Mike.
3-He reveals the double veto strategy should Britney or Shane have won the Veto.
4-He tells Frank that Shane is not 100% with Britney.

The more Dan talks, the more visibly Frank is swayed. They start using words like "we". Dan says that he wants to stay in the game and work with Frank, pull Danielle and Jenn and roll the two of them to F2. Frank is convinced.  He even suggest a name for the two of them Chillgade. Frank agrees to talk to Jenn and get her to use the vote, so he will put Britney on the block. Dan says he will talk to Danielle and explain that he did this to keep her safe.

9:10 PM: Dan goes downstairs to get Danielle who is still very upset.

After getting past that the words he used "You are dead to me in the game," did not mean she is dead to him in life. She is still emotional but he calms her down. He explains to her why he did that to her, that he needed her reaction to be genuine and he needed to give her the house's sympathy. He explains that he is still trying to keep both of them safe.

Slowly, Danielle comes around. Dan gives her the details of his discussion with Frank, explaining that it hinges on Jenn using the veto. She asks who would be put up in his place. Dan doesn't answer. She asks, "Shane? Britney?"

She is still a bit upset on a human level. She tells him that everyone is upset with him; and Dan says he's okay with that. They hug. They agree to play it like they are okay but estranged. Meanwhile, the HoH has been flooded with nervous peeps but Frank gives them a BS story.

9:56 PM: Frank tells Jenn the plan to use the veto and put Britney up and out. He gives Jenn a rundown of all of Britney's lies and deceits, uncovering that Ian has been the mole. He tells her that they will work with Danielle and Dan for the rest of the game. Jenn is reluctant but agrees to do it.

10:08 PM: Frank finds Danielle alone in the Arcade Room, and they quickly confirm that they are down with this new plan.

10:11 PM: Danielle joins Jenn upstairs. Jenn says, "Are you ready to do this?" Danielle answers, "Heck, yeah!"

Mission accomplished. If this plan goes through, in Jenn's words "Dan pulled the rabbit out of his ass." Yes, and that's how you stay in the game.

11:01 PM: Jenn and Dan have a moment alone. Jenn gets the reassurance she needs from him; and the plan is on.

11:21 PM: If I survive the next 12 hours... I'll be off the block and working with Frank.

A moment later, he sees Frank, taking the opportunity for a quick pow wow. They reaffirm their deal. Dan says they need to come up with an explanation about why he put up Brit, so their agreement isn't exposed. Frank says he will take a shower and think about it.

1:11 PM: Jenn and Dan have more of an opportunity to talk in detail about this plan. The two main focuses of this conversation: What they will say during the ceremony and Dan's promise to have Jenn's back for the rest of the game.

Frank is going to pretend he's surprised, saying that first Ian went against him, now Jenn and as a result, he will put up one of Jenn's closest allies, Britney. Jenn wants Dan to say there is a rat in his plea speech. Jenn asks Dan that he tell her if she's in trouble. Dan tells her he will try to save her over others because what she's doing for him is more than just a vote; she's saving him. This will be a hard sell. The others will have a hard time understanding why Jenn took Dan not Danielle off the block. This might backfire on Danielle and cause her to be evicted over Britney; but at this point, it's hard to predict what will happen.

1:20 AM: Dan and Frank reconnect in HoH. Dan says that the game was played at this level (he gestures low with his hand) and now it's being played at this level (he reaches his hand high). They confirm that speeches for today; then talk moves to Shane. Dan says that Shane is not as close to Britney as they think. Frank plans on talking to Shane and emphasizing that Britney has multiple alliances,,, with the closest one being with Ian. Talk moves to Joe and his suspicions. Frank will talk to him before the nominations to tell him that he needs Joe to vote the way he wants. They, finally start brainstorming about names for their alliance.

It looks like a wrap. All four have affirmed and reaffirmed with each other that it's a go. The PoV ceremony is set to happen at around 11 am PST today. Then more heads will roll. Bottom line, after that, it's all about securing the third vote.

BB14: Chum Baths and Chump Moves

Here's the situation in the game right now. Jenn has won PoV (maybe they should have put her on the block earlier in the season) and, as of now, is not planning on using it. The target for eviction is still Dan who is stuck in Raver's Solitary for the rest of the day today. His so-called allies, meanwhile, have given up on him, cutting their ties (on a game level) and accepting his demise. In order for Dan to have any hope of staying this week, he has to drastically change his game, and shank his alliance. He has the ammunition: Ian's betrayal of Mike and Frank, Britney's pushing for Frank's eviction and Shane's targeting Frank in both his HoHs. The only way Dan can make it in this game is to somewhat change his game play and get out of chill-mode and into full-blown Ninja Warrior mode.

Though AGP put in place some safety nets for the vets this season and last, the vest face an uphill battle because their game play is known, has been discussed and can be used against them. In order to override that, they need to change it and go against the flow of expectation. This is why Rachel was able to not only stay in the game, against all odds and despite her lingering reputation, but to win it. Last year was not only a year of personal redemption for Rachel; it was a redemption of her as a BB player. She kept her fierceness in competitions but also learned from her past mistakes and changed her social game as well.

This is something that Britney is doing this year. Despite the fact that she is a vet, the target on her back has not been as great. She's been able to use her mad social skills to forge relationships with everyone in the house, allowing her to somewhat shake off the vet stigma. If she can throw a couple of competition wins under her belt, she has a chance at redemption too this season. She's gotten close in a couple of competitions and stands a great chance in winning an Endurance competition. If she can ride the males' tendency to go after one another and keep the other two girls in the game close, she has a chance of making it to the end.

On a human level, it's really rough to witness such a lack of loyalty and gratitude in the house. Dan completely took the heat for the Quack Pack, especially Ian, last week thus making himself a huge target this week. Frank is under the misapprehension that Dan is solely responsible not only for Mike's eviction but in forcing Ian to nominate Frank and Ashley during the D.E. last Thursday. Ian, at least, owes Dan a fighting chance by working on Jenn to use the veto. Instead he along with the rest of the Quack Pack have accepted that Dan will be the first casualty, not even trying to put up a fight. That's quite the chump move. It's what's best for their game for sure, but it makes me sour towards them, just a little bit.

Here's some chum bath, just for the hell of it.. (The list of punishments are in the previous post.) Dan is expected to be released from solitary around 6 pm PST. I'm looking forward to his conversation with Frank. The rest is moot. Everyone in the house, sadly, eagerly or thankfully, expects that Dan will be evicted Thursday. Hey, AGP? How about a FF this week? Just sayin'

4:24 PM: Dan is free! Now watching for his talk with Frank... A little later he goes to the Arcade Room and lies down with a towel on his head... He's pretending to be sick. He lifts the towel, smiles and winks at the camera.

BB14:The Tire Track Pack

"Is this really the best thing for your game?" (using the power) asked the Wizard to Ian, as was told to Danielle and Shane by Britney, at around 11 pm PST.

This was repeated by Ian a few times throughout the night, Dan mentions it just before Ian joins the rest of the QP outside around 11:16 pm, and tells them that production wants him to work with Frank.  Of course Button Boy cuts the feeds every time it is mentioned.

Ian repeats this a little later, around 11:30 pm, while Britney and Ian have a quick conference about Frank, how he trusts Britney over Dan or Danielle and listened to her about not nominating Ian. She tells him that Frank wants Dan out but doesn't want to put Shane or her up should the veto be used. They both agree that getting Dan out of the game would not be the worst thing for them. They can pull Danielle in and the rest of the QP can work with Frank. When they move to the hammock, Ian tells her that "they" want her and him to work with Frank. Britney asks, "Why, because it's good for the story?' He verifies that it's the case, that they like Britney and they want to portray Ian as a villain who has seen the light.

11:12 pm

I will interject here that this is all coming from Ian. There is no way of knowing if production has been pushing this or Ian is using it as an excuse to explain turning against Dan. There are two reasons why getting Dan is good for his game. (Don't jump me. I like Dan!) The first reason is by being instrumental in Dan's eviction, Ian will be responsible for two former BB winners' eviction. The second reason is that by doing this, Ian lulls Frank into a false sense of security. Does this signal the premature end of the Quack Pack?

When Shane and Danielle have a chance to talk alone, around 12:54 am , they discuss the various upcoming scenarios. Shane is still very much on board with the QP's plan to try to leave only one of them on the block by using both the Veto and the Golden Power Ian won. He wants to win the Veto to take Danielle off the block and Ian take Dan off. He thinks that in the future, the best way to get Frank out is by backdooring him. Shane tells her that should Britney and Danielle be on the block, that he will be siding with Danielle. Though he likes Britney, Danielle has been his closest ally in the game. He reiterates his F2 deal with her.

Later, when Britney and Danielle get a moment to talk alone, around 1:20 am, Britney reveals her distrust of Dan who is saying that he will be throwing the Veto for Britney or Shane, getting Danielle to do the same. Britney doesn't trust that Dan will throw the Veto, leaving Danielle in jeopardy. Danielle doesn't believe this. Britney reveals that Frank made her swear that she nor Shane would use the veto or the other one of them will be put up. Britney adds that she made a deal with Frank to keep her and Shane safe this week. Britney asks Danielle not to tell Dan and that she doesn't want Dan to leave, that she will play as hard as she can because she doesn't want Danielle to go home.

Immediately after their talk, around 1:45 am, Danielle makes a beeline to Dan to tell him what Britney said. Dan tells her that it will be hard to keep the 4 of them safe this week. That in all likelihood one of them is going home. They debate whether they should go ahead with the plan or try to win the veto. Dan says that the only way she won't be safe is if he wins the Veto. This takes her aback, as she told Britney earlier that Dan would use the Veto on her. Danielle is playing with loyalty despite the many times Dan told her she needs to be cut throat. Danielle tells him that he has to try hard for the Veto. Dan concludes that this whole mess with Frank is Britney's fault, yet she is safe.

Bottom line: It's a big old mess of variables that have to come into play. They all have to play. Britney or Shane have to win. The winner has to use the veto.; and Ian has to use the Golden Power (which he has repeatedly said he is reluctant to do). More importantly, it's becoming increasingly clear that Britney and Ian are leaning towards rolling with Frank and cutting Dan, whether production is pushing it or not. It's not looking good for Dan and Quack Pack fans, but anything can happen in the game.

Today is the PoV competition. They all seems to be convinced it will be How Bad Do You Want It. Good luck to everyone.

9:35 AM: Joe and Frank talk alone in HoH. Joe is trying to get Frank to see that there's more to Ian than he thinks. Joe mentions Dan's comment during the PB comp yesterday about ratting Ian out. Joe points out that he is suspicious of those words, asking what would Dan have on Ian? Frank wonders about Dan telling him that he had something to tell him. Frank is reluctant at first to believe it, but as they keep talking he gets heated.

10:06 AM: Ian comes upstairs and Frank asks him what his motivation was to win the PB veto. He replies that it was to keep himself safe and stop others from getting it. Frank says it's odd that he needed to keep himself safe this week. Ian tries to smooth that over. Frank brings up the fact that Ian put him and Ashley on the block. Frank's talk is all about getting Dan out. Ian says he won't be voting him out not for a "long ass time". He adds that Frank should stick around until F4 and F3...(Umm, Ian.. stop talking.) Frank threatens him that if he picks Britney over him, he will make sure he does not win in the end. Frank adds that he will take Ian to the F2. He qualifies that he would possibly take Jenn over him to the F2 because she has been loyal to him. Ian says that he doesn't have a deal with Britney... He just likes hanging out with her.

Frank point-blank asks Ian about Dan's comment (ratting him out). Ian's answer makes no sense. Frank isn't buying it. Ian changes the subject to F3. Frank asks if Ian will use the power to take Dan or Danielle off. Ian says no, adding that "the powers that be don't want that." Button Boy intervenes for a minute and Britney joins them. Frank is called to DR to begin picking players...

When Britney and Ian are left alone, Ian says that the QP are in trouble and it's all of Dan's fault by making the "rat" comment. Ian asks Britney if their F2 deal stands, that she would pick him over Shane. Britney says she would pick Ian hands down, adding that she is not close with Shane. They agree that Dan winning the veto is the worst case scenario.

10:24 AM: Trivia... Picking PoV players. You know the drill, I will be posting them under the banner.
10:41 AM: The feeds return. Joe is the only one not playing (other than Ian). A few moments later, Dan issues Ian a warning of his own. That should he not use the PB Power, Dan will do damage in jury.

11:41-59 AM: Dan is onto Ian. He is convinced Ian won't be using the power on him because Ian said has is scared of Frank. Dan told Brit and Shane that he will then try to win the Veto himself. Britney pulls Ian into the Arcade and tells him he can't scumbag the 4 people who have been there for him because of Frank. He agrees to use it if Britney or Shane win. Ian leaves and Dan comes in. She tells him this and he goes to find Ian who tells him if it's the perfect scenario that he will use it. Ian says his word is good.

Noon: BB says, "Ian please go to..." Ian asks, "Yes or no?" Then fish... (Ian is the host for the PoV and the one to start the process.) Extended fish but nothing yet.

1:24 PM: Ian and Joe talk privately in the Arcade Room. Joe asks Ian not to use the power because he will be put up. Ian asks Jo point-blank what side of the fence Joe is on, adding that Joe seems to just go with the power and it's been working for Joe, but he needs to know which side Joe is on. He asks Joe to let him know later or tomorrow, saying that it won't alter his decision one way or another.

At this point there are a lot of repetitive conversations, often at cross purposes. The PoV competition will determine which of these are truth and which game play. I will update more after the comp.

2:34 PM: Trivia. Good luck to all! (Almost the 3hour mark)
6:21 PM: Feeds back...

Not sure who won yet. Frank is might happy... He's in a carrot suit. It can't be the reason he's happy? Dan has a 24 seclusion.

He seems happy. Why is everyone happy? There's music, food, drink and strobe lights LOL He says, "This is the sound track of me coming back in this game." He must have won PoV! Nope. He says. "Sorry I didn't win guys." But he has not given up. If anyone can find a way out, it's this guy.

Jenn tells Danielle that she has to keep the noms the same but she will look after her. It's confirmed by Britney who congratulates her. Jenn is on slop for the rest of the season. Brooklyn stepped it UP!

6:52 PM: Dan says he will expose everything. Danielle and Britney become shackle mates. They don't want Jenn to use the Veto... oh boy! Frank cannot compete in the next 2 HoHs... eeek!
7:06 PM: Joe tries to call Britney about Frank throwing the comp to her. She explains it but I'm not really listening.

Jenn, Frank and Ian are in HoH. It's kind of hard to take him seriously lol. Jenn tells him she won't be using the Veto and she will work with Danielle to keep him safe. They start planning out the whole rest of the game... but you know how that goes.

7:16 PM: Britney and Danielle visit Dan and talk to him through the door. He apologizes for letting them down. They say he didn't. He tells Britney he knows she tried really hard. Dan got champagne and cake too.  They go up to HoH where Jenn is. After she leaves moments later, they tell him about Joe questioning Frank's actions. Could this be a ploy to get Joe up? Doubtful.

List of Punishments:
Frank: Carrot Suit, chum bath and can't play HoH for 2 weeks.
Dan: 24 hr Solitary in HN room with strobe light, music, food, a port-a-potty, cake and champagne.
Jenn: Slop for the rest of the season and burn her clothes.
Britney and Danielle: Cuffed together for 24 hours
Shane: He has to play with a banana for 24 hours... (don't ask)
There were no rewards.

BB14: The Unsinkable Frank Eudy!

Frank has done it again! He has been on the block 5 times and HoH 3; it's indisputable that when he has to, he can pull out all the stops to stay in the game, other than the time that he was saved by AGP when the coaches came in.

It's 4: 45 AM PDT, Danielle and Jenn are still up discussing Ian and his undercover entity in the game. As it stands Frank will be nominating Dan and Danielle for eviction. They are discussing outing Ian to Frank who seems to have forgiven Ian for putting him and Ashley up on the block last night for the second eviction. Ian told him him he was pressured into these nominations and got flustered during the DE. Jenn reassures Danielle that she will talk to Frank and see what she can to help.

Last night, after the HoH reveal, around 1:19 AM, Jenn and Britney are the only two left in the room. Frank says, smiling, he can't believe that "little joker" (Ian) put him up). Shortly after Britney asks Jenn to talk to Frank alone. Britney promises him that should she win HoH next, she won't be putting him on the block. Frank says that he's going to put Dan and Danielle up. Britney says that she understands, that if she will be voting to keep Danielle. She adds that she would like that he would roll with the four, but she understands if he doesn't want to. Frank says he can't trust Dan because he's responsible for Mike and Ashley leaving. Britney doesn't disavow him of this. He adds that should Dan somehow come off the block, Frank will be pushing for Danielle to go as his closest ally.

Frank says that he can't trust Dan because he's been lying and pressured Ian to go against Mike. Britney, again does not tell him the truth about Ian. She says that she likes Ian and talks to him because she likes him. Frank gets a little heated, saying it wasn't fair to put so much pressure on Ian and make him believe that he was expendable and he couldn't win anything. He blames Dan for everything. Again, Britney says nothing, protecting Ian and leaving Dan exposed.

Frank wants assurance from Britney that she won't continue to influence Ian and "scumbag" him. Britney tells him that she has always been there for Ian as a person but has never tried to influence Ian. We know this is a lie; but it's a lie that's necessary in the game. Frank again insists that it was a horrible thing of Dan to pressure Ian to put Frank and Ashley up. Britney says, she understands why Frank doesn't trust Dan, she likes him and he's never lied to her. Frank points that Dan is a liar as is evidenced by the "fact" that Dan did no say anything when he was confronted about telling Shane that Frank and Mike wanted to  put Britney and Shane on the block. (It was Ian). Yet again, Britney does not tell Frank the truth. She has clearly made her choice. It makes sense for her to get Dan out because that ensures Danielle's loyalty and takes the target off her back.

Britney tells him that Frank's had the hardest time in the history of BB, and should he make it to the end, he has this hands down. She repeats that should she win HoH next week, he's safe. Frank pushes her for a longer commitment than one week. Britney tells him that she will 100% vote for Danielle to stay. She adds that it's a good strategic move for her to get rid of Dan because she cannot beat him. Frank asks if it was mostly Dan who went against Mike and pushed for Frank to be put on the block.. Britney says she doesn't want to throw anyone under the bus and to ask Ian. Frank asks her a little later if she wants to roll with the four to the end. (I am assuming it's Frank, Ian, Britney and Shane?)

When Ian talks to Frank alone, shortly after 2 am, he agrees that in order to get Dan out, Danielle needs to be on the block with Dan. He adds that he does not like Joe but putting him up would be risky. Ian says that he didn't want to vote Mike out, or put Frank and Ashley on the block, but he was pressured, putting the blame on Dan. Ian says that he wants to bring Britney to final 4 but not Shane.

It's interesting to watch Ian play the floater's strategy so well, and do so without being called out by anyone, including those who know his secrets. But will Danielle blow his cover?  Could this is the end of the Quack Pack.? Have Britney and Ian jumped ship? Or could this be another strategy to lull Frank and depending on what happens during the PoV competition, bank on putting Joe up as a renomination? Who knows? There are many variables, conversations and events to determine what's happening.

Shortly after 3 am, Danielle has a chance to talk to Frank alone. after he finds her crying in the bathroom. Frank tells her, straight-up that she and Dan are going up. He says that his target is Dan but if he wins PoV, Danielle will have to go. She responds that if Dan goes then she's willing to work with Frank. (The feeds keep skipping at this point so it's hard to put together a cohesive conversation.) During this conversation, Danielle implies that this situation (that Dan is to blame) is not the way things are. She doesn't directly expose Ian. Danielle says that should Dan go, then she will have no one in the game. Frank says that he's in the same position. He thinks he has Ian, but he did put him up. Could these two be working toward an F2 alliance? She tells him that he would be "her Dan" meaning that her allegiance be to him. (The feeds have been skipping and rewinding constantly during this time.)

It's interesting to watch Frank play without Mike, seeing how he sets up alliances, talks to people, and makes deals. Speaking of Mike, I would like to officially say that he took his eviction well. He laughed at Britney's goodbye message, which was the most hilarious to date, and he tipped his hat when Ian revealed it was him who orchestrated his demise. I will tip my hat to Mike Boogie. He handled it with class, redeeming him in my eyes. I have been quite critical of the things he's said while in the game, and  I won't apologize for that; but I give credit where credit is due, and Mike showed us that, ultimately, he is a good sport. Well done Mike Boogie!

Well, this week is going to another interesting one in the BB house. As we all know, things change from day to day, from competition to competition. Dan hasn't talked to Frank alone yet, neither has Jenn. If Ian's cover is blown, that might also change the nominations today. The PoV competition is set for Saturday, so the game might reset by then, too. There are just too many variables in place at the moment.  The thing I don't get is the supposed rule that an HoH is not allowed to tell someone directly that he/she is going to be nominated. But we all know those AGP rules are liquid.

8:31 M: Jenn joins Frank in HoH. He tells her he's planning on putting up Dan and Danielle etc. He says he just wants to go after one team at a time, that putting up someone other than Britney and Shane, it will ensure his votes. The rest of the time, he goes on about how Dan is not a nice guy because he rooting against him. Jenn is cool with the plan and voting Dan out. So far she hasn't said anything about Ian. Step it up peeps! I need a nap. :)

When we come back from an extended visit with the fishies....

We're tossed back into the tank a moment later. Wet from our swim, we climb out into the backyard. Shane, Ian and Frank are the only ones chatting about penis size... Look slik they are on outside lock down... New table?? The chatter turns to an extended dip in the tank...

9:51: Something fishy is going on... OK! It's been 40 minutes and I'm really sleepy lol... BBS! :)

It's 12:51 PM BBT: I'm awake and here's the status of the house. They got a smaller table. They got matzo balls and mozzarella.. Seems like Dan is the only have not (he volunteered.) Dan remains the target and the whipping boy. No one has set Frank straight about Ian's part in the deception. Shane and Frank have come to an  "understanding" to work together. Is this a real alliance? Who the hell knows? Dan has yet to talk with Frank alone. Also, looks like Pandora's Box is a-coming too... Will it be good or bad for Frank? Will it save Dan?
1:21 PM: Trivia... Still trivia almost an hour and a half later...

3:05 PM: Feeds back. Britney has won something that will affect the game. Dan is ready to rat Ian out. Ian joins Frank and Britney and pretends to feel bad and is full of bravado. Ian cannot play in the veto. The target is still Dan.

See the gold ball in his hand? That's what he won. Ian has a lot of nervous energy which makes Frank doubt him about working together. Frank won 3k. Ian won't use the power because Frank has told him Britney will go up.

Shane quickly checks in with Dan and Danielle. Dan asks if Joe and Jenn knew what he meant when he said during Pandemonium box to Ian that he would rat him out. Dan seems to think this new development is giving them a better shot to keep all the QP safe... I"m not sure how yet. They hope that Frank doesn't nominate Ian. Dan says there are two people he can't nominate... Britney joins them to brainstorm strategy. Dan tells Shane and Brit to leave so they don't get caught. Yup. The QP is strong!

Here's what I'm surmising. The power allows Ian to veto one of the nominees, Dan. Ian and that person will be safe. Then two other QP members will be put up. If another QP member wins the veto and takes down one of them, then Joe or Jenn will be put up and be evicted by the QP.

3:37 PM: Frank has joined Danielle and Dan. They are talking about the PB. Frank was stuck in HoH but couldn't see what was going on in the yard. It seems they were getting rained on with things. Sounded a little chaotic. Dan says that it was a fun challenge but it got ugly and in two seasons, this is the first time he is embarrassed in his actions. They don't talk about game, really. No mention of Ian.

I don't know if nominations will happen today or not. I will update any new conversations should they happen (namely between Frank and Dan, or Dan and Ian.)

Continuing with the feed chaos... 3/4 are on trivia with audio. Frank is talking to Jenn that he doesn't trust Ian. He is saying that it bothers him that "they" used intimidation against Ian to vote against Mike. We know that's not what happened. Frank thinks that Ian is so weak and emotional that he can't stand up to them. Jenn says she wants to keep the lines of communication with him, yada yada...

4:06 PM: Dan joins Frank. Dan tells him that Mike pulled him into the storage room to tell Dan that Frank is a warrior and to look out for him. Dan says that he completely understands what's going to go down but should he survive, he won't come gunning for him. Dan adds that if he survives to be open to anything. Frank says he would be open to that. Dan says he doesn't believe that he would be staying against anyone. Frank says he doesn't know about that. He adds that he doesn't like this situation. Frank adds that he has always thought Dan was a great player.

Dan says that he did not handle Frank's connection with Boogie, implying he was jealous. Frank says he was looking forward to working with the 2 of them. They both have high praises for Frank. Dan wraps it up that should he survive, it won't be a blood bath. He says that he has no hard feelings. Frank says that he hopes he doesn't miss and he doesn't like it because talking with him right now make shim second guess himself. Dan repeats that should he survive, they can work together without letting the others know. They wrap it up, shake hands and hug, Dan wishes him good luck with noms.

4:37 AM: Britney goes up to HoH. After some Dan discussion, Fran brainstorms about who to put up. He is thinking of putting up Dan and Ian. Britney says that might backfire. She says that Ian will not take it well. Ian will not be able to play the veto and he would be leaving a spot open. She she working hard to stop him from putting up Ian. Britney says that should she go up on the block, she doesn't have a hope in staying. They agree that Ian won't use the power. Britney tells him that Ian has not even talked to Dan today.

4:45 PM: Trivia. Let the nominations begin! And now fish... I guess not. Great fake out Button Boy! Feeds come back 10 minutes later and nothing's changed. Thank you Button Boy for feeding into our paranoia. Britney and Frank are chit chatting. Joe and Jenn are in the living room talking about drugs.

5:09 PM: Trivia. Again. Nominations
6:39 PM: Feeds back... Dan and Danielle are the nominees as expected. The house is calm with a lot of chatting... Now onto the PoV competition and how that shakes out.
